GVI, fast growing non-profit focused on sustainability and empowerment through urban farms, community and school gardens and youth development, seeks an Executive Director to manage the day-to-day operations in Bridgeport CT. The ED will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for GVI’s staff, programs, expansion and execution of its vision and mission. Job responsibilities include general management, financial and project management, as well as fundraising and development. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a shared belief in and commitment to GVI’s mission to create social, economic and environmental change through local action and urban agriculture. This energetic, service oriented and highly organized individual will have excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with our dynamic Board, along with local government and community leaders. Prior financial and project management experience are prerequisite, and excellent written communication and speaking skills are a must. College degree and 5+ years of work experience are required.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000
